Bizarre Stars is a team of artists from all around the world who are passionate about creativity and high quality art! Bizarre Stars Series 1 launched in 2021 as an art-based collectible series on the Cardano blockchain, showcasing our love for basketball with a fun twist. Paying homage to Garbage Pail Kids of the 1980s, we recreated basketball stars as monsters, robots, zombies and beyond! Every Bizarre Star is hand drawn by our team of artists.

I had a vision to do my own basketball series on Cardano after experiencing the Top Shot and SpaceBudz boom in 2021. I shared my vision with a friend Stagwolf and we began to make this dream a reality together. Our intention was to create a series combining our love for art, basketball and blockchain, all in one. We onboarded some of the best artists in the space, including: Zakalwe, Moxarra Gonzalez, Shinji Akhirah and Monk. We also launched Bizarre Budz with Zakalwe in 2022, recreating SpaceBudz in the unique cyberpunk style of Zakalwe!
